Reading CAN (Reading Climate Action Network) would like to invite all businesses and organisations in Reading to sign up to the Reading Climate Pledge for Organisations. What would you be pledging to do? You'd be setting out an intent to work towards a net zero plan for your organisation.
Don't worry if you can't see that happening for a while or if you're not sure where to start. The pledge actually sets out 10 simple steps to help you work towards this goal - e.g. 'Measure our energy usage and take steps to reduce it'; 'Get involved in local environmental projects', etc.
You'll find yourself part of a growing group of local organisations with the same intentions and the same need to learn more, who support each other on our LinkedIn group, Reading Business CAN (which will get a refresh this year - ReadingCAN's Year of Climate Engagement). You don't need to sign the pledge to join this event or the LinkedIn group.
